What we designed and built
A long-term partner needed a customised mobile storage unit for a government agency project site in Sweden. The delivery date was fixed, and the project had to move directly from the initial request to design, production and transport.
No technical drawings were available when the project started. The team therefore prepared the 2D drawings, electrical design, material lists and production instructions in parallel. The first design was completed within one working day.
Container modifications
A standard yellow 10ft High Cube ISO container was selected as the base. The original double doors and one long side wall were removed to create the access required at the project site.
The container was fully repainted with durable two-component paint. EI60 fire-rated insulation was installed in the floor, ceiling and remaining walls. The original floor was finished with aluminum checker plate to provide a durable surface for daily storage use. A PVC curtain suspended from a rail was installed across the open side to help protect the interior from dust while maintaining convenient access.
The container was equipped with fixed electrical installations, LED lighting and a heater. The electrical system was designed according to the requirements applying at the Swedish project site.
The complete project—including 2D design, electrical design, modifications and delivery—was completed in 12 working days. The finished container arrived at the project site one day before the agreed delivery date.
