What we designed and built
The client needed a generator container that could remain on a truck during operation. This placed specific requirements on ventilation, structural strength, equipment connections and access to the container. A 20ft Open Side container was selected as the base. The ventilation system and grille arrangement were developed together with the client’s design team to provide the generator’s operational requirements.
Large ventilation grilles were integrated into the side panels and doors to provide the airflow required by the machinery. Their positioning and installation were planned carefully so that the modified container would remain structurally suitable for continuous use on a truck bed. Custom cable openings were also created to support the installation and connection of the client’s generator equipment.
Floor and access modifications
The original floor structure was rebuilt using steel. The new floor increases load-bearing capacity and removes the risk of long-term problems caused by wooden flooring coming into contact with water. The entry door was fitted with a custom locking system. Its lower lock can be operated while standing beside the truck, making the container easier to access without climbing onto the vehicle.
After the structural modifications were completed, the container was sandblasted and repainted in the client’s brand colors. A custom high-gloss finish was used to give the generator container a distinctive appearance and separate it visually from standard shipping containers.
