What we designed and built

The client needed a secure and versatile space for storing equipment. A new 10ft storage container was selected as the base because its compact dimensions suited both the required storage capacity and the intended use.

To improve fire protection, 100 mm EI60 insulation was installed in the walls, ceiling and double doors. The underside of the floor was insulated with 100 mm XPS insulation. Inside, the floor was finished with aluminum checker plate, while the walls, ceiling and doors were covered with 1.5 mm aluminum sheets. Additional aluminum strips were installed over the joints to create airtight seams and a durable, easy-to-maintain interior.

Electrical and Equipment Integration

The container was equipped with a 16A/400V five-pin power inlet, a switchboard, grounding, an internal 230V socket and a 1,500W heater. A motion-activated floodlight was installed above the double doors to improve visibility around the entrance.

Ventilation is provided by a D125 duct fan with a stepless speed controller. A filtered D100 supply air valve brings replacement air into the container. Together with the insulation and heating system, these features keep the storage space functional in demanding winter conditions.
